On Friday, July 19, Brampton lit up with the return of Party in the Lanes, a dazzling street party organized by the Downtown Brampton BIA in collaboration with Brampton on Stage and the Peel Art Museum and Archives (PAMA). This year’s event was an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and family fun that had everyone talking.
The Highlights
The event spread across three exciting locations in Downtown Brampton:
1. Vivian Lane – Kids Zone (5 pm – 9 pm)
Vivian Lane was a haven for families, transforming into a vibrant Kids Zone filled with activities. Children delighted in giant Lego, face painting, crafts, and temporary tattoos. The special meet-and-greet characters from 5:30 to 7:30 pm were a hit, bringing smiles to young faces.

2. Rose Theatre Lobby – Silent Disco (6 pm – 10 pm)
The Rose Theatre Lobby turned into a dance paradise with a Silent Disco that kept the energy high throughout the evening. Participants enjoyed dancing to their choice of music through wireless headphones, while local vendors showcased their products in the Rotunda. The Snaptique Photobooth added a fun touch for those wanting to capture memories from the night.

3. Daily Times Square – Salsa (6 pm – 11 pm)
Daily Times Square was alive with the rhythm of Salsa in the Square, hosted by The Salsa Club. The area was thrilled with Latin music, dance lessons, and live performances, offering a taste of vibrant Latin culture. Attendees also explored floral arrangements by Dakota and Brampton Latin Fest, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Community Spirit and Fun
Party in the Lanes proved to be a fantastic celebration of Brampton’s community spirit and local talent. Residents of all ages came together to enjoy a diverse array of entertainment and activities. From the lively dance floors to the creative kids’ area and the dynamic street performances, the event truly highlighted the best of what Brampton has to offer.
For those who didn’t make it, don’t worry—this event will surely be remembered fondly, and you won’t want to miss it next month on August 16th. Keep an eye out for more exciting events and community gatherings in Downtown Brampton.
Thanks to the City of Brampton, and all the wonderful sponsors and participants for making Party in the Lanes a night to remember!
