Party in the LANES kicks off summer in downtown Brampton on Friday, July 19!
Brampton, July 19, 2019 – The Downtown Brampton BIA (Business Improvement Area) is pleased to present Party in the LANES on Friday, July 19. Party in the LANES is back to kick off summer in the downtown core.
Party in the LANES will take over McArter Lane (27 Main Street North), Vivian Lane, and on George St. South for an evening of excitement running from 6-11P.M. The downtown laneways will be transformed into lively street parties featuring live music, Latin dance lessons, belly dancing, local vendors, and more.
TWNRVA a “Dark pop” duo inspired by hits of the 90’s and The Yonge Collective whose music blends 1970’s rock and roll influences with modern day alt-country takes over the stage in McArter lane.
Salsotika will bring a spice of Latin culture on George St. South. Gonzalo from Segovia Salsa Café works with Segovia Coffee Co and Pos Bueno Mexican Restaurant by teaching salsa lessons. There will also be Natalie Zara who is a professional belly dancer from Toronto who dances Egyptian style belly dance and Fusion belly dance with Latin performing throughout the night.
Vivian Lane will transform into our downtown Kids Lane featuring a free PhotoboothTO compliments of RBC Insurance, children’s crafts, Henna tattoos, a special visit from Boomer – the Brampton Beast mascot and Brampton Fire.
Each laneway will feature local downtown pop-up vendors offering a variety of delicious food and unique products.
Party in the LANES has something for everyone to enjoy, so bring your dancing shoes, appetites, and shopping excitement to Downtown Brampton on July 19! This event could not be hosted without the support of the local downtown businesses, the City of Brampton, Brampton North Nissan, Performance Honda and RBC Insurance.
