What We Do
The Downtown Brampton Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a member-based organization that represents and supports all businesses located within the BIA boundary. The BIA acts as a connector, promoter, and advocate for downtown businesses.
The BIA operates in partnership with the City and is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of local businesses, property owners and appointed City representatives, who provide strategic oversight and ensure the organization serves its members. The Board is supported by two committees — Marketing and Events and Safety and Beautification — that help advance promotions, programming, safety initiatives and ongoing care of downtown spaces.
