Brampton…Downtown Brampton’s cultural scene will be painting the downtown on canvas as
artists from across Ontario are invited to the seventh (7th) annual LIVE ART COMPETITION on

“We are once again extremely excited to celebrate the 7th annual LIVE ART COMPETITION on
the main streets of our downtown! Brampton’s arts community is very passionate about the
cultural scene and look forward to seeing you all out with your paint brushes on Saturday
August 19th says Grettel Comas, organizer of Live Art Competition.

The event is presented by INZOLA’s Art Endowment Funds in partnership with the Downtown
Brampton BIA, PAMA along with a number of community sponsors including The Arts of John
Cutruzzola, Baci Gifts, Gallery 35, Inzola, Algoma University, and Peel Art-Museum and
Archives (PAMA).

This event is being brought to downtown Brampton through the vision of long-time resident,
artist and city builder John Cutruzzola. Artists will be painting and competing for first, second
and third prize cash awards in two categories oil or acrylic and watercolour. Guests 13 years
and older are invited to take part in the competition. Beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 5
p.m.

Early Bird Registration Ends August 5, 2023: Youth $15.00 | Adults $40.00
After August 5, 2023 until the Day of the Event: Youth $25.00 | Adults $50.00

Artists 13 – 17 years :
Gift Baskets Valued at:
• First prize: $200.00
• Second prize: $100.00
• Third prize: $50.00

One 16” x 20” canvas or 14″ x 20″ watercolour paper will be provided to each artist, artists must
bring their own equipment and materials. Closing ceremony begins at 4 p.m. at Gallery 35
located at 35 Queen Street West.
