Join the Downtown Brampton BIA team this summer!
This is a great opportunity for students who are passionate about community growth, local business development, and gaining hands-on experience in economic development. As an Economic Development Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting initiatives that help strengthen our local economy, engage with businesses, and contribute to meaningful projects throughout the summer.
We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are eager to learn, collaborate, and make a positive impact in their community. Whether you’re studying business, marketing, public administration, or a related field, this role offers valuable real-world experience and the chance to build your professional skills.
These (5) positions are a part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program with funding provided by Service Canada. Candidates must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment (June 1, 2026). Candidates must also be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred for the duration of employment; and have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
