Final laneway party set to hit downtown Brampton on Friday, August 17!

Brampton, Aug. 16, 2018 – The Downtown Brampton BIA (Business Improvement Area) is pleased to present Party in the LANES on Friday, August 17. This is the final laneway party of the summer in downtown Brampton!

Party in the LANES will take over McArter Lane (27 Main Street North), Daily Times Square (33 Queen St. West), and on George St. South for an evening of excitement from 6-10 p.m. The laneways will be transformed into lively street parties featuring live bands, children’s activities, local vendors, and more. James Anthony Band and Stacey Renee Band will play the best of rock and pop in McArter lane. George St. South will welcome a mix of Latin, Jazz and Bachata along with some  belly dancing and Flower City Bhangra performances. If you need something to entertain your little one, the kids zone in Daily Times Square will be your destination. This lane will feature free face painting, crafts, a photo booth presented by Polaris Dental, and a chance to meet Brampton Fire!

Friday Night Live in Garden Square will be another destination for fun presenting Freedom Train from 8-10 p.m. Each laneway will feature local pop-up vendors offering a variety of delicious food, and unique products.

The final Party in the LANES has something for everyone to enjoy, so bring your dancing shoes, and appetites to Downtown Brampton for the end of the summer party! This event could not be hosted without the support of the local downtown businesses, the City of Brampton, Brampton North Nissan Performance Honda and Polaris Dental.
