Rib n’ Rolls kicks off the summer right. Taking place the weekend after Victoria Day, the Rib n’ Roll is the first Ribfest of the summer in the GTA. The weekend-long community ribfest in downtown Brampton combines lip smacking ribs and incredible live music for one of Brampton’s most popular community events. It is no wonder that Rib n’ Roll has grown from its' humble beginnings to one of the Brampton area’s marquee events for the year.
Come one, come all. Our operating hours are Friday from 5pm -11pm, Saturday from 12pm -11pm, and Sunday from 12pm -7pm. Our event is open to the general public and is completely free, although donations are encouraged at all the gates. The event is licenced, and beer, wine and coolers may be purchased for those 19 and over.
Come taste our world beating ribs. Rib n’ Roll is a showcase for outstanding ribbers from around Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Our ribbers engage in friendly competition with each other for your taste buds, offering varieties of ribs and sides guaranteed to make your mouth water. Thousands return year after year for melt in your mouth, delectable ribs.
Come for the ribs. Stay for the music. The Rib n’ Roll has become a mainstay for local GTA talent. Known year after year for our music, most bands at Rib n’ Roll have been playing the event for years. Our great mix of talented musicians play all weekend, playing popular covers in multiple genres, from country to classic rock. While our ribs keep your taste buds tingling, our music will keep your feet tapping.
It’s all about community. All profits from the Rib n’ Roll support those in need, with most funds flowing to children’s charities. Our event also allows local musicians and local ribers showcase their talents within the community. Rib n’ Roll is family inclusive, with bouncy castles and children’s entertainers during the daylight hours. Rib n’ Roll relies heavily on local volunteers and generous donations from the community to create an unforgettable event and raise money for those in need, with over $100,000.00 given to charitable works since its’ inception.
Ribs aren’t your thing? Meet our vendors. In addition to our ribbers, our vendors offer delicious, delightful, and delectable food options across the park. From ice cream to lemonade to poutine and other choices, there is something for everyone at Rib n’ Roll.
Children’s Activities. During the daylight hours of Saturday and Sunday, we operate children’s bouncy castles and slides for a small donation to charity. On Sunday, we will have a family focus having have children’s entertainment throughout the day such as magic shows, face painters, clowns and stilt walkers.
Meet our sponsors. We encourage our sponsors to have a real presence at the event by utilising their dedicated space to meet the community. Walking around the park, you will be able to meet the sponsors that made our event possible.
The Rotary Club of Brampton. The creation, inception, growth and ongoing management of Rib n’ Roll is done by the Rotary Club of Brampton. The Rotary Club is a club dedicated to service within the community and has been doing good works in the community since 1940. The Rotary Club of Brampton has a particular focus on raising money for and aiding children’s charities. Hard work of volunteers through the Rotary Club of Brampton makes the event possible.
