Micah Barnes’s new show New York Stories takes you on a musical tour of the Big Apple starting uptown at the Apollo Theater and the Cotton Club and moving midtown to Times Square and Broadway before landing downtown at jazz clubs Birdland and the Blue Note in the Village. The Canadian jazz crooner will be performing classic songs from legendary New York songwriters like Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Carole King and Burt Bacharach, as well as songs from his critically acclaimed disc New York Stories.
