Digital Main Street’s Future Proof Program – Community Collaboration Projects will connect regional innovation centres, BIAs, Boards of Trade, Chambers of Commerce and other community-based organizations in a series of conversations that will reveal common issues facing small and medium main street businesses and focus on developing workable solutions.

This workshop is for community stakeholders including BIAs, Boards of Trade, Municipal Economic Development partners, individuals interested in projects to revitalize main streets in Peel region. Independent Mainstreet Business Owners, RIC Centre technology/innovation clients, Peel region technology companies and digital marketing agencies.

Attendees of this workshop will get the opportunity to:

• Share key challenges, old and new, that are facing small businesses in our community
• See examples of how innovative technology can make a difference for our community
• Have a voice in generating ideas for helping local main streets recover from COVID and thrive

This first workshop will be followed by a second event on October 22nd (register here). By the end of October, we will announce funding of up to $50,000 in regional projects for testing in Peel region (November 2020 through February 2021). Results and reports will be due in March 2021.
