Directed by Jimish Thakkar, The Hive Performing Arts’ production of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES is a must see for anyone who is a woman or knows a woman. Through her interviews with more than 200 women worldwide, playwright Eve Ensler chose some of the greatest stories about vaginas - from happy to sad, angry, or confused, and exploring many topics including sex, relationships, sexual violence, menstruation, sex work, and more. A timeless play, THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES celebrates women’s lived experiences, challenges taboo topics, fights for female empowerment and advocates and end to violence against girls and women.
