Cardinal Leger Secondary School wins Grand Prize from Downtown Brampton’s Festival of Trees Competition!

Brampton, Jan. 16, 2018 – The Downtown Brampton BIA (Business Improvement Area) was pleased to present the grand prize of $1200.00 to Cardinal Leger Secondary School, winners of the first annual Downtown Brampton Christmas Tree competition. The competition took place from December 2-January 8, the public was encouraged to visit downtown Brampton and vote on their favorite Christmas tree design.
Cardinal Leger competed among seven other schools with more than 40 trees being designed in total.
Local schools involved included:
o St. Roch Secondary School ○ Cardinal Leger Secondary School
o Parkholme School ○ Brampton Centennial Secondary School
o St. Anne’s Elementary School ○ Turner Fenton Secondary School
o Sacred Heart Elementary School ○ Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School
Trees were located in over 35 different local downtown businesses. Cardinal Leger competed among seven other schools with more than 40 trees being designed in total.
