Business Incubator Pilot Launching 2019

Staff will soon start renovations of almost 4,500 square feet of vacant space downtown to support the launch of a pilot incubator and co-working facility.

The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre and the University team has been working on developing this space for some time, and has secured interest from potential business partners, and entrepreneur support organizations like the RIC Centre.

Additionally, Ryerson University expressed their support of this initiative, and their intention to add their leading expertise in entrepreneur development and innovation to the mix. Ryerson’s DMZ was recently recognized as the world’s number one university-based incubator.

The City hopes to have this space open for entrepreneurs and exciting programming in Q1 2019.
