Downtown This Week – September 28, 2021

We are EXCITED to announce that the City of Brampton has approved $16.6 Million in streetscape improvements in Downtown! This comes after many years of our businesses advocating at City Hall for improvements to our community. Design work is set to start immediately and we can’t wait to see the work begin!

City of Brampton approves $16.6 Million investment in Downtown Brampton Streetscape

This Saturday we are hosting our annual Pumpkin Giveaway along with a food drive for REgeneration Community Outreach. Bring a non-perishable food or cash donation to our booth in front of City Hall in exchange for a pumpkin!

September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as well as Orange Shirt Day. PAMA is hosting an outdoor art installation which you are invited to attend. The City of Brampton also has various events both virtual an in person. You can get more information here. Read the story of Orange Shirt Day here.

As the days get crisper, we invite you to take a stroll downtown Brampton, visit the many outdoor art exhibits on display and relax with a warm beverage on our public patios. Have a great week!

Sincerely,
The Businesses of Downtown Brampton
